Description
On Saturday 4 April at 2pm, we’ll be presenting music from the Habsburg empire, recovered from the archive of the Archbishopric of Olomouc in the Kroměříž castle, in the Czech Republic. This performance will highlight sacred repertoire, and in particular the glorious and pioneering clarino trumpet writing by composers such as Phillip Jakob Rittler and the innovative Pavel Vejvanovský. Come and hear this music, much of it probably unheard for over 300 years, in true Queen’s Closet style, in the Cable Room at Harbourside in Taranaki Street.
The recommended ticket price is between $40, but you can choose any amount from $15 🙂 .
